Business services
What types of organizations do you work with?
We work with mid-size and large businesses, MSPs and IT providers, healthcare organizations, schools and universities, government agencies and nonprofits across the Kansas City metro. See industries.
How do I get a quote?
Fill out our quote form or call 913-372-9060. A rough list of equipment types and quantities, or a few photos, is enough for us to price the job.
Do you charge for business pickup?
Pickup is quoted based on volume, equipment type and location. Equipment with resale value earns buyback credit that can offset or cover the cost. You get a written quote before we schedule anything.
What areas do you serve?
We serve the entire Kansas City metro on both the Kansas and Missouri sides, including Overland Park, Olathe, Lenexa, Shawnee, Leawood, Lee's Summit, Independence, North Kansas City, Liberty and Blue Springs. Larger projects outside the metro can be arranged.
Data security & compliance
Do you provide certificates of recycling and data destruction?
Yes. Business jobs can include a Certificate of Data Destruction, listing drives by serial number for serialized jobs, and a Certificate of Recycling.
What data destruction methods do you use?
We use software-based sanitization verified to NIST 800-88 (and DoD 5220.22-M on request) for equipment that will be reused, and physical destruction for failed drives or whenever you request it. More on data destruction.
Will you sign a Business Associate Agreement (BAA)?
Yes. Healthcare organizations can request a BAA and we are glad to sign one.
Are you R2 certified?
All material that leaves our facility for recycling is processed through R2v3-certified downstream partners, so your equipment is handled to recognized industry standards from start to finish.
Buyback
Do you buy used IT equipment?
Yes, if it qualifies. We buy fully working equipment that is 5 years old or newer in large quantities (75+ units), or 3 years old or newer in smaller quantities. Equipment that doesn't qualify can still be recycled. See buyback requirements.
How is buyback value determined?
Value depends on age, specifications, quantity and current market demand. All units must be fully working. We give you an estimate up front and a final settlement statement after testing.
Residential drop-off
Is residential drop-off free?
No. Residential drop-off is charged by weight: $0.50 per pound for most electronics and $1.00 per pound for TVs, printers and microwaves. See residential drop-off for hours.
What items do you not accept?
We do not accept CRT TVs or monitors, projection TVs, alkaline batteries or large appliances.
Can I recycle broken electronics?
Yes. We accept electronics in any condition, working or not.
